Homemade Ant Farm

The Ant Farm!While moving a potted plant on my balcony one night, I discoverd a colony of ants. I had thought about making an ant farm for the longest time so this was a great opportunity to just do it. Taking an old Costo nut container and a plastic cup, I made a new home for the little creatures.

Making a Prop Fire Hydrant

A prop fire hydrant A contractor wanted nearly US$700 to make a prop fire hydrant for a booth my company was having at the Taipei International Cycle Show, which ran from from March 17-20. I wanted to show that the prop could be built for much, much less. I ended up making something mostly from recycled materials and costing less than US$30.

Wat Arun in Bangkok I had a nice week-long vacation due to the Lunar New Year holiday in Taiwan. HS and I spent five days in Bangkok sightseeing, shopping and eating. We had a great time.

Staying Dry in the Rain

Another rainy day in Taipei It has been raining for the past few days now but I was the trooper and pedaled my way to work today. Biking to work doesn't have to be a soggy affair as long as you have the proper equipment!

Sweet New Ride

My new bike!I took home a sweet new ride on Thursday (12/18) night and rode it to work on Friday. I get a great kick out of how smoothly it glides along the road and how nimble it feels. It definitely is a very, very nice bike.
