Feeding Time at the Zoo!

Feeding time at the zoo! There is a very interesting bronze statue just outside the Taipei Zoo. Obviously, the artist wanted to show how humans and animals can peacefully co-exist. But maybe this particular piece shows people and animals as being a little bit too close.

Not like the way Mom used to make themI remember squeeze cheese as a kid. It was cool then and I remember always hoping that Mom would buy it whenever we went grocery shopping. Now, there is something similar for pancakes.

Old Altoids

Box of old AltoidsI came across this box of Altoids one day buried under a pile of books in my livingroom. The last time I recalled munching on an Altoid was over a year ago, possibly longer than that. When I opened the box, I was dismayed to find not a nice yummy Altoid, but something pretty yucky.

Roach-eaten bag!I was tidying up my place one day when I noticed a thumb-sized hole in a plastic bag that used to hold some bread. I thought a rat had gnawed the hole but upon closer inspection, I realized it was caused by a cockroach!
