Folding bicycles seem to be getting more popular by the day. Compact and light, these bikes are becoming alternative means of transporation for many. One company at the forefront of folding bike development is Dahon, which so happens to be run by some friends of mine. |

I competed in the 2007 Pan Asian BJJ International tournament last week in Manila. This was the second time I went to compete in the Philippines and the first time as a blue belt. |

Gotta love some of the wacky English you see in Taiwan at times. I, however, was quite suprised to see this glaring error on a sign at one of the of the more up-scale bookstores in Taipei. |

I took a trip to Taichung at the end of January on Taiwan's recently opened High Speed Rail (HSR) line. Tickets were being offered at half price just before the official opening of the line and I decided to try it out. A trip that normally takes around two hours by bus was done in under an hour. Boy, was that fast! |
