I came across this box of Altoids one day buried under a pile of books in my livingroom. The last time I recalled munching on an Altoid was over a year ago, possibly longer than that. When I opened the box, I was dismayed to find not a nice yummy Altoid, but something pretty yucky.
Mutated Altoid mints
Upon opening the tin of mints, instead of seeing nice hard, white Altoid mints, I found two transparent, yellowish globs of jelly-like goo.
I guess this is what happens when you leave Altoids sitting around too long, especially in a humid climate like Taiwan. I wonder what would happen to a roll of Menthos mints if you let them sit for a while? Hummm . . .
