There is a very interesting bronze statue just outside the Taipei Zoo. Obviously, the artist wanted to show how humans and animals can peacefully co-exist. But maybe this particular piece shows people and animals as being a little bit too close.
This statue apparently has been in place for quite a while and I'm not aware of any particular controversy over it. The Chinese written at the base of the statue says "愛護動物" which translates roughly into "Love and care for the animals." I think a more appropriate title would be "Feeing time at the zoo!" Feeding time at the zoo! |
