More work on frames
More work on frames
The part being manufactured gets quality checked along the way. Frames are trued and aligned and then some more machining is done if necessary. Stemposts are checked for trueness and alignment.

The aluminum-framed bikes get heat treatment for an extended period of time to releave any stresses that built up in the metal during the welding process. After buffing and polishing, the frames and parts get painted and decals are added.

Final assembly
Final assembly
The frames and associated parts of a bike finally all converge in the assembly line. The frames are mounted to a conveyer belt and the different parts of the bike are added one by one by people at various stations as the bike slowly makes its way down the line.

After the bike reaches the end of one conveyer belt, it is hooked onto an overhead conveyer system which whisks it away to another section of the assembly plant for further processing.

Slowly, station by station, various parts are added until a complete bike is made. In the last step, workers test the basic components of the bikes before boxing and packing.

The pace of work in the factory was very fast. Bicycle sales, especially those of folding bikes, have skyrocketed recently and the busy pace of the factory totally reflects this reality.

Hopefully, our factory will remain busy or even get busier, since that would mean that more people are buying our products which hopefully will help reduce the pollution and detriment we have caused to the environment and the world.
