I took home a sweet new ride on Thursday (12/18) night and rode it to work on Friday. I get a great kick out of how smoothly it glides along the road and how nimble it feels. It definitely is a very, very nice bike.
This bike is the Mu EX and is the top of our line model for 2009. This particular unit was a test model that was taking up space in our storage room and I was able to get hold of it at a discount. For most of my life, I've ridden mountain bikes and never anything like a road bike. Sure, I've tried out road bikes but I've really never ridden them for a substantial distance before. My sweet new ride! This particular bike, though a folding one, is speced out just like a road bike and she rides like one. Whenever I ride it, I feel like I'm floating on air. Cruising along the road is so effortless with this little baby. I like it a lot! I don't think I can go back to riding a mountain bike on the road any more! An old building . . . what's left of it On Friday, Steffi lead the way to work and took us on a much faster route. We passed by an area that is preserving the original buildings that have been there for nearly 100 years. The area is right next to Hsimen Ding (西門町) a very hip and happening section of Taipei where young people like to congregate and there are lots of new, fashionable shops. |
