Elephant

One of the boys indignantly put his pail on the ground and demanded the man move the elephant so that he and his companion could continue along their way.

"My elephant and I are resting," replied the old man.

"But this is a trail for everyone to use," retorted the angry boy. "You can't block the way for everyone!”

The old man, however, merely shrugged his shoulder and continued resting along the side of the trail.

The young boy, got incensed at this point and stomped over to the elephant and started yelling at it to make it move.

The elephant, however, just stood there munching away at banana leaves.

The young boy, now enraged, started pushing at the elephant with all his might. He heaved, and he shoved until he was all out of breath. The elephant, however, was totally unaware of his presence.

The other boy, in the meantime, had merely walked around the man and his elephant and delivered his pail of water safely to the village.
