I previously posted what I called my "first" YouTube move. This is not entirely true.
I had posted on a whim a short video clip of a cute kitten my girlfriend's brother had brought home one day. I haphazardly shot some video on a compact digital camera, plopped the video into Windows Media Player, tossed in some royalty free music downloaded from the Internet, typed in a title and exported it. I uploaded the clip to YouTube just to see how the proces went.
What I find kind of frustrating, though, is that this clip, which was shot and produced on a whim, has gathered nearly 3,000 hits within less than three weeks time, while the most recent vidoes I produced (with considerably more effort) haven't even pushed past 20 hits in a week! And most of those hits are from me! I guess people are more interested in cute, cuddly, fuzzy animals that quirky water gardens or a romp around Taipei.
I should do an experiment about what types of videos attact the most interest. I already have an inklng what might get the most eyeballs.
Here is truly my very first video posted on YouTube.
