Taiwan has been influenced greatly by Japan in terms of politics, education and technology. One particulary popular cultural import is manga-styled comic books and the obsession with school girls as objects of lust.

These pictures were taken at a book convention in Taipei during the summer of 2007 which featured manga-styled comics in one exhibition hall. Needless to say, there plenty of posters  depicting sexy scantily-clad schoolgirls in provocative poses. Besides having physiologically impossible body proportions, female manga characters are often presented in titillating homosexual-like situations.

Hummm . . . maybe I should become a comic book animator.
